BMW S85 Soundmod (E6X M5, M6) | Assetto Corsa

Assetto Corsa finally gets the S85 sound it deserves.

I personally went out and recorded a real E60 M5 for this sound. Thanks to @vtenmfive/ToniTwoTone on my discord for the commission, driving around, and the agreement to release this sound to the public, for free!

The sound is based off a stock S85 with the exception of Dinan mufflers. Recorded with some SM57's and Roland binaural mics.

I used the stock E60 M5 (EU) that came with the GMP E60 pack for development.

Installation is simple.

2. Download my sound, then copy and paste the sfx folder from "GABEIS300 S85 SOUNDMOD V1.0" into "gmp_e60_m5_manual," which should already be installed in your "cars" folder. Replace if prompted

3. That's it! If you want to swap this sound to the other M5 variants in the GMP pack, use Content Manager's replace sound feature.
